The Spessart Hills provide an idyllic setting for the 3-star Wald-Hotel Heppe.

An oasis of peace. Beautiful forest scenery, a pleasant climate and the high oxygen content of the air combine to create ideal conditions for a relaxing holiday. The stresses of everyday life recede far into the distance and you will leave filled with new energy. The large swimming pool and our Finnish and infrared saunas comfort body, mind and spirit. Our home-made cakes and gateaux are famous in the whole region and beyond. We also offer free high-speed internet access throughout the hotel.

Opening Times

Dining room for hotel guests: 07:00 to approx. 23:00 hours Restaurant: Wednesday to Monday: 08:00 to 21:00 hours (Breakfast 08:00 – 10:00), may be extended for groups and parties by prior arrangement. Closed on Tuesdays (we provide a cold buffet for residents). A romantic winter break: Join us from 26/12/2015 to 06/01/2016 to experience the magic of the Spessart in winter. You will find package deals for New Year breaks here During this time our restaurant will also be open. We request that you reserve a table if you would like to celebrate New Year’s Eve with us.

We heat with environmentally-friendly wood chips

We protect our nature and heat CO2 neutral with a wood chip heating system.  In this way, we “cleanse” our forest and burn the wood chip from our local trees. The energy we produce heats the whole property. And a small heap of ash is all that is left. We are happy to answer any questions about the system.
